A controlled wash and dry matched to synthetic insulation and lightweight shell fabrics — not a domestic laundry cycle.

  • Items with contamination we are unable to safely accept, which we will flag at assessment

The specialist process

Synthetic insulated jackets are cleaned using a process matched to their fill and shell construction, lifting the dirt, sweat and oils that flatten the insulation and reduce its thermal efficiency. The wash is kept controlled so the fill stays evenly distributed rather than clumped or migrated.

The jacket is then thoroughly dried and the synthetic fill re-lofted to bring back volume and warmth where the garment is undamaged, protecting fabric integrity and the lightweight shell throughout.

  6. Collect — we contact you when it is ready, and you collect it in person.

Where: Unit 5 Tekori Court, Louth, LN11 0WA. Please bring your item in person. We are not set up to receive items by post or courier and cannot guarantee anyone will be available to accept a delivery, so please do not send items to us. If an item does reach us that way we will contact you and agree what happens next.

Collection: We contact you when your item is ready. Items are collected in person by you or by someone you have authorised in writing.

We carry out every service with reasonable care and skill, and we inspect each item before we accept it.

  • Cleaning cannot guarantee that every stain or odour will be removed.
  • Existing damage can become more visible after cleaning.
  • Age, wear, weakened fibres, failed seam tape, deteriorated coatings, loose trims, degraded adhesives, peeling prints and previous repairs can all affect the result.
  • Please disclose known defects and previous repairs, and empty all pockets before you arrive.
  • We may decline an item we consider unsuitable or unsafe to process, and we will explain why.
  • If we find that different or additional work is needed, we will ask you before doing it.

Is this the right service for a down jacket? p>This wash is set up for synthetic insulation. If your jacket is filled with down or feathers, choose our Down Insulated Jacket Wash, which handles down re-lofting specifically./p>

Will it bring back warmth my jacket has lost? p>Cleaning removes the dirt, sweat and oils that flatten synthetic fill and reduce thermal efficiency, and the fill is re-lofted during drying where the garment is undamaged. We assess each jacket on its individual condition rather than promising a fixed result./p>

What does the Sterilisation Treatment add? p>For +£10 we add a professional sanitising process that targets and reduces odour-causing bacteria, fungi and mould deep in the fill and fabric — useful for persistent sweat or damp odours./p>
